Are we that boring?!?

I've always thought that we are pretty busy family for the most part. I thought this was true until I invited my 8 year old niece to come stay with us for several days. We only got a few hours into the first day and she was already telling me that she was bored and what were we going to do next, this went on the entire day. I feel like there is not much to do in Vegas. It is not until I go to Utah and see all the fun things you can go and do with your family. I really wish they would make Vegas a little more family friendly!!!

I wanted to wish my "little" brother David or "Elder Ellis"
a very Happy Birthday. (he is to the right of me in the picture)
He is serving a mission in Panama
and seems to be doing really well.
I can't believe he will be coming home in September.

One Relaxing Day....

So yesterday was my birthday and was it ever a great day!!!
During the day, Abby watched the girls so I could go and get an amazing facial followed by the most relaxing pedicure. It was so nice just to sit and enjoy and not feel at all guilt.
When Bryan got home from work he brought me home beautiful flowers and then my Father-in-law watched the girls so that Bryan could take me out to dinner to Kona Grill. (I absolutely love the macadamia nut chicken there, it is to die for)
I also got several phone calls and messages on facebook wishing me a happy birthday, which made me feel extra special. What a great day to remember!!!

Visiting Grandma's House

Last week I decided to take the girls up to Utah to visit my Mom while she was down visiting my Grandma. Over all it was a fun trip and I got to see lots of my extended family and spend lots of time with my Mom and Grandma. The girls had fun playing with Cousin's, swimming, eating popsicles, swinging in the tire swing.

Bare Bums and Popsicles...

I love the cowboy hat Heidi gave to Ellyse for her birthday. Today I decided it was a good time to capture a couple pictures of the girls trying it on and also eating some popsicles to keep cool. I was happy that they some what cooperated.

Happy Canada Day!!!!!

I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Canada Day!!! Some of my fondest memories of Canada Day are watching fireworks in Victoria's Inner Harbor. It is so pretty watching fireworks over water.
