Reality is about to hit....

I am a little sad that my stay up here has come to an end BUT on that same note I am also happy to be coming home. I can't believe how fast the month went by.

I guess I was busy with: hanging out with my family, enjoying the fabulous weather, taking walks with friends, shopping, and taking advantage of the beautiful scenery. It was also nice to be up here for when David got home and to spend a little bit of time with him.

I am so excited to see Bryan and I know that the girls are also anxious to see him also. I am ready to get back into a routine and start preparing for the next several months.

Elder Ellis Returns...

We went and got David from the airport on Tuesday. It was so good to see him after 2 years. He has grown up a lot and he looks really good. It was a little late to have to stay up but it was worth it and it has been really fun to have him home. So, Welcome Home!!

For "Daddy's" Benefit....

Bryan was telling me how he was missing his little girls so here is some pictures just for him of his little girls and their new boots.

Blackberry Pickin'

One our favorite things to do up here is walk or drive down the road and pick Blackberries. Lily loves all berry's so she is completely content if I pick and she waits patiently in the truck and then I give her what I pick. Ellyse loves it too but she wanted to hang out with Uncle Daniel this particular time.

Sunday Hike

Last Sunday, my dad and I decided to take a hike from Mr. Chase's to Genoa Bay. It was such a beautiful day and the view was incredible. It was fun to spend a little time with just my dad since we don't do a whole lot together.

Transfer Beach...

Yesterday, the girls and I went with Rachel and her kids to Transfer Beach. It was soooo nice. There were so many fun things for the kids to do and we quickly fell in love with the spot. Jackson and Ellyse liked finding little sea creatures, for instance, we found lots of crabs, 2 starfish, and a jellyfish. The kids loved climbing on the boat and the playground. Needless to say, we will be going back there very soon to play.

A Ride in the "T"...

Bryan FINALLY got to go for a ride in my Dad's "Famous" Model T. You can tell by the grin on his face that he was pretty excited. I even got to go for a ride later that night. I couldn't take the grin off my face either.

Going to the Fair...

I was excited to find out that the fair would be in town while I was up here. I have fond memories of the fair when I was young. The girls loved to see and pet all the animals. We went with my sister-in-law and her kids so It was extra fun for the girls to have their cousin's around.

Maple Bay....

We went to Maple Bay one evening and the kids got a kick out of throwing rocks and looking at Jelly Fish. Ellyse is not scared of anything, so not like me as a kid. She likes to touch and pick up anything that looks interesting to her.

Beautiful Retreat!

I am having such a nice time up here visiting my family. The weather has been so perfect. I think Bryan was beginning to think it only rained up here. It is so nice to get out of the house and enjoy the outdoors. One thing I can't do in the summer at home.

I am going to miss Bryan when he leaves to go home. Three weeks without him will be hard but I am looking forward to seeing Elder Ellis when he gets home from his mission.

I can't wait to spend more time with friends here and hang out with the family some more. I can't get over all the beautiful spots you can go to here. I hope the weather continues to be in our favor so we can enjoy many more days outside.
