Bryan and I always said....

When the girls ASKED to have their ears pierced they could so...that's just what we did today when Ellyse asked if she could. She was a little hesitant at first but she did awesome. She didn't cry or even flinch. She loves them and she keeps saying how cute they look.

End of Joy School

It is kind of bitter sweet to think that joy school is done with. It has been so nice have Ellyse in joy school this past year. I think as the year progressed, the girls seemed to get along better and it made it a lot easier when it was my turn to teach. I know Ellyse is excited to start kindergarden in the fall, but I will miss having her under my wing.

We've had a Birthday..

Bryan celebrated his 29th Birthday this week. I think we made it a fun day for him. The weather was perfect for swimming and a BBQ. Bryan was in heaven with the carne asada he bar-b-qued for dinner. I am so thankful for my amazing man.

My Ideal Weekend

All I can say is brother and sister in town + swimming + BBQ, + nice weather + a little shopping= my ideal weekend.

Mother's Day

I decided to make these cupcakes for Mother's Day. I had seen them in my Martha Stewart's cupcake cookbook and HAD to make them. I think they turned out pretty cool. The best part was eating the dried pineapple off the top.

This is to go with the previous post. For some reason, it wasn't letting me write anything.

This is the time of year Bryan dusts off his dirt bike boots and spends his evenings practicing for his big mini moto. He did well this year and qualified for the evening race (he got 15th out of 23). His last chance race the first day, he ended up spraining his ankle but he was able to race 3 more with his hurt foot and still survive. We are happy he made it through without any major injuries.

Mia's Blessing Day

We decided to wait until my parents were down for my sister-in-law's graduation to bless Mia. It was so nice to have lots of family there to share her special day with. I had so much fun visiting with my family for the week. I can't wait till Davids wedding....the whole family will be together.
