{Randoms}

My Dad and the girls
The girls love jumping on the tramp at Grandma's

Lily is looking older to me(so sad)

Here are just a few random pictures that I took and liked. The weather has been quite nice the last several weeks so we've spent lots of time outside enjoying the sunshine. (One of the benefits of living in Vegas)

The big "1" for our little one.

Our sweet Mia turned 1 on Friday. We celebrated it on Saturday at Bryan's parents. I made a coconut tres leches cake and a special cupcake just for Mia. Bryan and I made gourmet Bobby Flay burgers with homemade onion rings. It was all delicious and when all was said and done....we spent a lot of time in the kitchen.

Mia has a lot of personality
She loves to walk (she learned in the last month)
She still doesn't sleep through the night. (She's up 1-2 times for a bottle)
I take her for her check up tomorrow but she weighs 17-18lbs
She likes whatever her sister's are playing with and will try with all her might and voice to get it.
Bryan can still get her to sleep in his arms at church(amazing to me)
She manages to climb up on everything even for how small she is.
She has reddish hair(we think it's from my side of the family)

This year really has flown by and we are happy to have her in our family.

Gone....

....on a trip again.

I came to Utah last Friday because Daniel (my brother) was going through the Temple for the first time, my little nephew was being blessed and my parents were in town for both events. I decided it was the perfect time to have Ellyse take a week off of school and spend time with Grandma and Grandpa Ellis.
We started in Provo, making our way to Salt Lake for a couple days and then on to Bountiful and ending in Ogden. It has been lots of fun. We've seen lots of family, snow and even a moose licking the salt off our cars. I think I am ready to go home and see Bryan and get back into the daily grind. I feel like the last month has been spent away so I am looking forward to having a normal schedule.
While we were at Nakita and Eric's. We decided to take the kids to Wheeler farm to see all the farm animals. It was really cold but the kids loved seeing all the different animals (Ellyse was really scared of the roosters though)

New Years

For New Years this year we went to Heber for Bryan to snowmobile and hang out with my family.
We hit a terrible snow storm driving up there but luckily we were driving Bryan's truck so we made it safely. We were even able to put Robi's tow strap to good use and pull some cars out that had run off the road.
The girls were able to do some sledding and play Just Dance on the Wii. It was a fun weekend overall and we were sad to have the holidays end.

Christmas

I had everything ready before we left for Hawaii. All the gifts were bought and wrapped. The house was even left clean. When Christmas morning came, all the presents were ripped open and paper was everywhere. The mess stayed for probably a week but it was so nice to be home and in our own beds.

Hawaii

We went to Hawaii the week before Christmas this year. Everyone in Bryan's family came. It was so nice to spend time together . The kids had so much fun playing on the beach. They got along great and the weather was warm and beautiful. We spent most the time at the beach but we were able to go snorkeling one day and went to a Luau another day.
Christmas Eve, we headed home and the rest of the family stayed for the following week. We missed being there a ton but it was nice to be home for Christmas. I hope one day we can make it back.
