The Flight, birthday and an evening walk

Lily loved looking out the window

The caterpillars were taking over the trees so they were everywhere.

The Flight to BC went really well. When we got to the airport to check in, they bumped us up to first class. Bryan and I looked at each other with big smiles on our faces cause we felt to lucky. It was so nice to have the extra space for the girls and the nice breakfast was great. It was my Dad's birthday so we got to be there for that. One of the first things we did was take a nice long walk along the river.

Miss Mia Dear

Before we left, Mia was having plenty of fun keeping herself busy with all sorts of activities.

I HaTe GoOdBYes!

I love our group of friends in Vegas. They truly feel like family.

We are so sad to say goodbye to the Jex's in our ward. Definitely a family we will always be friends with.

SIX

Mia, though you can't tell in this picture, was very upset she was not on the go-carts with her daddy.

Ellyse's birthday was yesterday and boy did we have a LONG fun day. Her birthday happened to fall on her last day of school which was a gift in itself. I spent the morning making strawberries and cream cupcakes for her class. After her short last day of school, we celebrated with swimming the rest of the afternoon. Ellyse really wanted to go to mini grand prix so that's what we did. We had lots of fun. I loved seeing Lily's face right after she got her wrist band on.... her smile was priceless!!!

Wednesday's

When Grandpa got home from his meeting the girls made him jump on the tramp.

Every Wednesday everyone heads to mutual and I am left with the girls. Normally the girls swim but today they rode bikes. Lily learned to ride her bike without training wheels just a couple weeks ago and she does really well. I am so glad the girls enjoy the outdoors because that is were we spend the summer.

One year down.....

Ellyse got the teacher's choice award. We were so proud of her!

.......only 12+ years left to go.

Ellyse had a rough go the first..um...8 months of kindergarten. She had a love/hate relationship with school. I think the last month was her favorite. She finally got used to going and I think she rather liked it. She ended up doing really well. She learned to read and write and she was a good student. I am a bit sad that she is done with her first year of school. I think it goes to show how fast she continues to grow up. Lucky for her, her last day of school is tomorrow and so is her Birthday.
