Things I Miss About Canada.....

1. First and foremost I miss seeing my family. I do talk to my Mom everyday but I sure would love to talk to her in person everyday.

2. I never thought I would ever say this but I miss the Rain. Living in Vegas has really brought this on. 355 days of Sunshine throughout the year can definitely make you want it to rain a little more.

3. I miss walking down the road and seeing wild flowers growing everywhere. Daffodils are a favorite of mine.

4. I sure miss the ocean and trees and BEAUTIFUL scenery. Lake Mead doesn't compare at all.

5. I miss my ward. Duncan Ward carries with it many great memories. I do love my ward here but I definitely look forward to my visits home to see my friends.(Naomi, this one is for you)

6. I miss going to Victoria and walking around downtown. The inner harbor is hard to beat. The Malls there are fun too.

7. I miss walking to Mr Chase's and having my own private beach to just sit, relax and breath in the fresh, clean ocean air.

8. The Chocolate up there is amazing. Sorry America, but your chocolate tastes like wax. Some other favorite treats would include Old Dutch Chips w/ dip and red Nibs.

9. I miss eating at White Spot and shopping at The Real Canadian Superstore.

10. I'm So happy to be both Canadian and American. I wouldn't change it for anything.

Any chance of getting Bryan to move up here then?! :) I miss you being up here too, especially since being a mom now, I would love you to be here to answer all my "mom" questions! This post did make me appreciate some of those things about Canada that I often don't think about (like all that rain)!

I wish there was a chance. Bryan said if I found a job that payed the same he would do it. Too bad he doesn't have citizenship though. It would make finding a job impossible. TOO BAD

Hi Kristen, I found your blog through Naomi's and I just love seeing pictures of your little girls. They are so beautiful. They sure remind me of Emily's kids, but of course with their own look. I just wanted to say how sweet I think you are to your mom. To say the things you say. I hope that my kids love me like that when they grow up. That's the best reward there is!
