Busy Busy Busy

I thought after Thanksgiving, things would start to slow down, boy was I wrong. Two weeks ago, I started having the worst tooth pain. This was happening on a weekend so there wasn't anything I could do for it. On Monday, I was able to get into the Dentist, which I was so grateful for. He decides I need a root canal so he does one right there right then. Thankfully the pain was numbed. I check out and the cost was 170.00 which I gulped and payed it. Then they say I needed to come back in 2 weeks for the crown. The bill for that was 1000.00 which insurance would cover 300.00. Ouch!!! Are you serious!!! So I sign it and leave. On the way home I tell Bryan that I know what he can get me for Christmas.....just what I always wanted.
The next day I get to thinking about Bryan's Uncle that lives in Kansas who happens to be a really good dentist. I call his Aunt and ask her if it would work out for him to do the crown for me. Anyways, within a couple of hours of talking to her, I had bought a ticket to Kansas for 3 days later. I took Lily with me and we stayed the weekend and had my tooth preped for the crown. I had a really fun time there and when I flew into Vegas I found it had snowed. SO FUN!! So since I've been home, my temporary crown fell off and now I am waiting to call the dentist (the one that I bailed out on in the first place) to get my crown cemented back in. But all in all, We saved about 500.00 so you can't beat that!!
In all that has gone on in the past couple months, I've been able to get all my Christmas shopping and now I can enjoy the last couple of days before Christmas.

That's some crazy dental madness right there. Good thing you were able to save yourself some money. I went to the dentist about 6 months ago and they told me I needed all this crazy work done too and it would cost tons of money, so I was freaking out. I decided to get a second opinion and it turns out I just needed a cleaning. yeah...they were trying to scam me...I didn't realized how sleazy some dentists could be, but now I know...it's best to go to a dentist you can trust.

Wow! Crazy how expensive our teeth can be. Luckily my brother in law is a dentist here in town. Good job on the savings!

Hope you guys have a very Merry Christmas. I loved your Christmas card, they are adorable. I can't believe how much they look alike.
